Many Indian families till date used to trust brick and mortar instead of online purchasing. But pandemic has made access to online retail stores much easier than access to the physical stores. Now more and more families are adopting to online shopping of groceries as well. Companies in the healthcare sector are moving towards the concept of telemedicine, wherein doctors are getting video call appointments and the cure is done by treating/explaining the patients digitally. The CEO\’s and founders who earlier used to think their businesses will only work and get revenues if they physically meet their employees on daily basis, are now realizing that work from office is just an added cost. Employees instead are functioning well from their houses, keeping their health at par, getting to spend time with their families and performing much better.
All this has enabled and created more need for multi-cloud adoption for enterprises. As per a Forbes report, Microsoft’s team services saw a surge by 775%, Zoom reported to have 345% increased business during the first week of lockdown due to COVID-19. The AWS saw 33% growth in sales and has broken the record of $10 billion bar. Multi-Cloud technology has impacted everyone’s lives greatly. People are noticing its worth due to pandemic. If it would not have been for multi-cloud technology, so many businesses in the world which are up and running successfully, would not have been able to survive otherwise.
